October 12, 2007 - GapiDraw Source Code License introduced!

As of today you can now purchase the full source code to GapiDraw using online payment! In the GapiDraw source code package we have included the source code for every platform GapiDraw was ever compiled for, including Palm, Tapwave, Windows Mobile, Stationary PCs and Symbian. This means that if you are interested in developing games for both Symbian and Windows Mobile you can continue using GapiDraw and simply "take control" over the Symbian source code and recompile it yourself for v9, N-Gage Inside or UIQ.

"Being able to purchase the source code for the software you might build your entire business upon is something many of our customers have asked for, and we are delighted to finally bring them the full source code of GapiDraw at a very competitive price point," says Dr Johan Sanneblad, Senior Software Researcher at Develant Technologies.

The GapiDraw binary license as well as the GapiDraw source code license have both been designed to be as easy to use and as flexible as possible. This means that:

  • A GapiDraw license is 100% royalty free
  • You can create and sell as many applications as you want with the license
  • You can use the license for as long as you want - there are no "time bombs" preventing you from using the software after a specific date
  • You can develop and sell commercial applications for all platforms supported
  • You only need one license per company
